Thank you to the school districts who completed the MASA 2009 Assessed Valuation Survey. We received 239 responses to the survey in a very short period of time. By clicking on the following link, you can view the entire list of responses in an Excel format: MASA 2009 Assessed Valuation Survey
This survey was prompted by the need for information by eleven school districts in the Kansas City area which filed a lawsuit against the Jackson County assessor alleging that reassessment practices were unfair and illegal. The judge ruled on Friday that the school districts lacked standing in bringing the lawsuit. To view the judge's complete ruling, click on the following link: Jackson County Lawsuit Ruling.
