Webcast Is Now Available!
Missouri is experiencing unprecedented economic difficulties with the potential to negatively impact the educational opportunities for students in public school districts. The Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO), the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA), and the Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) have combined resources and expertise to produce a FREE web cast to assist school districts.
* The web cast features:
• An economic overview by Linda Luebbering, state budget director, and Dr. Chris Straub, a well-known school finance consultant;
• A presentation of critical suggestions and recommendations from the Columbia and North Kansas City School Districts; and
• A conclusion with legal information from Kelli Hopkins, an MSBA attorney.
* The web cast is available free to all Missouri school districts.
* The web cast will be available for viewing until September 1, 2010.
* Board members who view the web cast will receive 1 CBM credit.
