MASA MOSPRA Spring Conference Set For March 25-27, 2015
The 2015 MASA/MOSPRA Spring Conference will be held on March 25-27, 2015 at The Lodge of Four Seasons. This conference will began on Wednesday afternoon and conclude on Friday morning. The 2014 MASA/MOSPRA Spring Conference was held on March 19-21, 2014 at The Lodge of Four Seasons. This year's conference will began on Wednesday afternoon and conclude on Friday morning. The MASA and MOSPRA Program Committee designed a conference with breakout sessions on current issues combined with informative and motivating general sessions.
Opening General Session
A new general session will kick off the conference on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. The keynote speaker at this session will be Jaime Casap, the Global Education Evangelist at Google.
Workshops will also be scheduled on Wednesday on a variety of topics, Commissioner of Education Chris Nicastro will hold an open dialogue session with attendees, and the large exhibit area will open at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday night will feature the annual MASA Awards Banquet at which time the association will recognize a number of individuals including the Pearce Award nominees and award winner. The traditional dessert reception for the honorees will follow the banquet.
On Thursday morning, there will be a continental breakfast, workshops, and time to visit educational vendors in the exhibit hall where you may register for some fantastic prizes. The Thursday luncheon will feature keynote speaker Dr. Adam Saenz.
Workshops will continue on Thursday afternoon and attendees are invited to the President's Reception which has been a huge success in recent years. Prizes from the exhibit hall will be announced during this reception. Back by popular demand is a special fun activity with lots of prizes and fun for all participants. The conference will conclude on Friday morning with a breakfast buffet and the annual MASA business meeting. The business meeting will be followed by a panel discussion and the ever-popular update on school finance and legislation presented by Chris Straub, Mike Lodewegen and Roger Kurtz.
