Dr. Pam Salazar, COA Keynote 2016

Dr. Pam Salazar spent thirty years in public schools in Clark County School District, Las Vegas, NV, where she served as a physics teacher for 19 years and then transitioned to administration serving as both a high school principal and a principal on special assignment.  She then moved to higher education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Educational Leadership as an Associate Professor in Practice.  She now serves as a consultant, providing professional development to school leaders across the country focused on continuous school improvement and accelerating achievement in low-performing schools.

Pam has written numerous articles in the areas of school improvement, instructional practice and school leadership and has made hundreds of presentations for both administrators and teachers on becoming more effective at creating high-performing schools where all students are on the path to college and career readiness.  She serves as editor for NASSP Bulletin, the research journal for secondary schools and has published the book High Impact Leadership for High Impact Schools with a second book, High Impact Leadership for High-Impact Teaching to be released later this summer.
