Administrator Golf Challenges With Illinois and Nebraska

Missouri school administrators are invited to participate in golf challenges with school administrators from Illinois and from Nebraska. These events are open to all current Missouri school administrators.  These are fun events that feature two-person Missouri teams competing against two-person teams of school administrators from Illinois and Nebraska.  The events provide networking opportunities between administrators and undoubtedly bragging rights for the winning state. (By the way, Missouri won the 2009 Missouri/Nebraska Golf Challenge.) The events are being sponsored by MASA, the Illinois Association of School Administrators and the Nebraska Association of School Administrators. The corporate sponsor for both events is Trane.

Missouri vs Illinois Arch Rivalry Golf Challenge

The first annual Missouri/Illinois Arch Rivalry golf challenge will be held on Monday, September 13 at the beautiful Gateway National Golf Course in Madison, IL.    This course is rated as the #1 public golf course in St. Louis and the only one with bentgrass.  Enjoy golf as it was meant to be played at this stunning, links-style course in the perfect location for golfers who work in, or travel to the downtown St. Louis and Metro-East areas. The tournament begins with registration at 11:30 am, lunch at 12 noon and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.  This fun event and will feature Missouri two-person teams of school administrators competing against Illinois two-person teams of school administrators. There will be drinks and hot hors'doeuvres after the tournament along with great giveaways, shirts for all participants, and lots of awards.  The registration deadline for the tournament is August 27.  The cost to play is $25 and includes green fees, golf cart, lunch and beverages. Missouri forms must be faxed to 573-556-6270 as soon as possible.  The deadline for entries is Friday, August 27.  The tournament is limited to the first 20 teams to register from each state.

Missouri vs Nebraska Golf Challenge

The second annual Missouri-Nebraska School Administrators Golf Challenge will be held on Wednesday, October 6 at the Arbor Links Golf Course in Nebraska City.

The tournament begins with registration at 10:30 am.  The driving range will be open at this time and there will be a free "short-game" clinic for all participants.  Lunch will be provided and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.  Following the tournament,there will be drinks and hot hors'doeuvres along with great prizes.  This fun event and will feature Missouri two-person teams of school administrators competing against Nebraska two-person teams of school administrators.  The registration deadline for the tournament is September 17. The cost to play is $40 and includes green fees, golf cart, tournament shirt, range balls, short-game clinic, lunch, beverages and evening hors d'houvres..
