Legal Issue Seminars Scheduled

MASA Focus On Legal Workshops

MASA is presenting a series of workshops that Focus On Legal Issues and topics.  The workshop series will include:

Legal Pitfalls in Addressing Student-on-Student Misconduct will be presented by Missouri Ed Counsel, LLCDuane Martin

Residency and Parental Authority: Subpoenas, Restraining Orders, Orders of Protection, Divorce Decrees, Parenting Plans, Guardianships and Power of Attorney workshops will be presented by Celynda Brasher and Michelle Basi, attorneys with Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt P.C

Special Education and Section 504 workshops will be presented by Teri Goldman, Ernie Trakes and Betsey Helfrich with the law firm of Mickes Goldman O’Toole LLC

Each of these workshops will be presented on several dates begining at 9:00 am at various locations across the state as indicated on the registration page. Superintendents, central office administrators, board secretaries, building principals, board members may register for this presentation.  Registration fee is $60 per person.
