School Finance Assistance Service

The Missouri Association of School Administrators has assembled a team of experienced school administrators with a high level of expertise in the area of public school finance to help school districts with financial planning and problem-solving.The consultants currently working with the program include:

Bill Rebore
Allan Crader
LeRoy Huff
Ray Patrick
Robert Phillips
Bill Ray

Other consultants are also available. Chris Straub serves as a resource consultant to the program.

Services Provided:

Making the right decisions at the right time can mean the difference between success and budget deficits. The following services are available to all school districts in the state of Missouri on a fee basis of $400 per day plus travel expenses.

  - Establishment of Tax Rates
  - State Funding Projections
  - Certificated Salary Compliance
  - Local Budget Issues
  - Capital Projects Tax Rates & Transfers
  - Bond & Tax Levy Election Planning
  - Other Financial Services As Requested

Services are designed to meet individual school district needs and financial concerns. Districts wishing more information regarding these services, or to schedule the financial assistance service should contact Roger Kurtz at the MASA Office.
