LDS: Personnel Workshops - 2024

Who is invited to attend?  Any district or building level administrator who plays a role in the decision-making process related to personnel.

 

Description: This roundtable discussion will focus on the many personnel decisions that school leaders must make each spring. The discussion will address the following topics:
 

  • best practices and procedures for HR
  • board policies and legal requirements. 
  • leading the decision-making process surrounding key personnel matters including recruiting, hiring, contracting, non-renewals, resignations, reduction in force, and separations. 

Time:  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Warrensburg - Thursday, February 1, 2024 – Warrensburg R-VI School District, Central Office 201 S. Holden St. Warrensburg, MO 64093 – Host: Steve Ritter, Superintendent
  • Valley Park - Tuesday, February 6, 2024 – Valley Park School District, Administration Office, 1 Main Street, Valley Park, MO – Host: Dr. Tim Dilg, Superintendent
     
  • Brookfield - Thursday, February 8, 2024 – Brookfield R-III School District, 124 Pershing Road, Brookfield, MO – Host: Dr. Eric Hoyt, Superintendent
