The Early Career Superintendent Coaching Program is designed to support Missouri superintendents entering their second or third year in the 2025–2026 school year.
Through meaningful mentorship and personalized support, this program helps strengthen leadership capacity, increase job satisfaction, and promote long-term success in the superintendency.
Program Overview
Each participating superintendent is matched with a seasoned, retired Missouri superintendent who serves as a dedicated coach throughout the year.
Coaches provide 15–20 hours of one-on-one support through a blend of in-person and virtual interactions—focused on leadership development, strategic problem-solving, and professional growth.
Thanks to the ongoing investment of MASA and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), this program is offered at no cost to superintendents or their districts.
In 2024–2025, more than 100 early-career superintendents from across the state participated.
Registration Information
Registration for the 2025–2026 cohort is now closed. We anticipate announcing details and opening registration for the 2026–2027 program in Spring 2026.
